My experience in Ospreys class

Wow… Where do I start?!

This last month has been truly unforgettable; an experience I shall treasure for a long time. You have all been an absolute delight to work with. Not only have I learnt valuable lessons with you all, I have enjoyed myself, and that is all I could have asked for from my time here.

There is no doubt that all of you are going to do well in school, you are all superstars (no matter how cheeky you can be), and I hope I have the opportunity to work with you all in the future.

Thank you all so much, and have a fantastic summer.

Mr Bassett (and Bruce Cobbler)

Thank you Ospreys

I have had a wonderful time in your class! You are all so fantastic and I am very sad to be leaving you. It has been a pleasure working with you and I will miss you all dearly. Over the three weeks of being with you I have learnt so much and I thank you all for being such wonderful children and allowing me into your class.

Thank you so much

From Miss Timmins

Bruce the Adventurer visits Ospreys.

Bruce the Adventurer flew into Ospreys fresh from one of his many exploits. He talked to the class about the time he met a fierce tiger and a prowling Panther. The nail-biting end to the story was that there was a treasure map involvedunfortunately  Bruce got hit on the head by a wayward coconut !! The children were set the task  of helping Bruce finish the adventure and find the treasure.

A Touch of the Tropical

Today Ospreys enjoyed a tropical treat when they made and tasted a huge tropical fruit salad. The fruit salad was a treat for working so hard but it also linked in with Science (healthy eating), D&T (cutting, slicing, chopping etc and of course making something) and writing (instruction writing). Everyone tasted the fruit salad and by the time the afternoon was finished, the fruity treat was too! Next week Ospreys will be enjoying a little class cooking.
