Amongst the various science experiments so far this year, the designing of an enclosure to protect a creature from the elements such as wind and rain has to be a highlight. The children worked in pairs to design and make their enclosure then we tested their effectiveness at being wind and water resistant. We had some fabulously intuitive and ‘outside of the box’ thinking’ which we aways love to embrace.
